Hi all,
I have a Powerbook G4 which is running on Panther. I am a music arranger by profession and i was trying to install a music software known as the Digital Performer version 4.0. The installation needs me to key in the key code provided by the sofware maker so that i can run the application. I am currently unable to complete the process cos after keying the code, the Key Code window appears again. And it happens every time i try to key in the code again. Can anyone please kindly advice me on what is going on? Thanks

If it shows your name and asks for a code below that, then it is asking for your password for the computer, not the software. If it does not show your name and is actually asking for the keycode, then it is a different problem. Scroll around and see if it gives you some kind of message why it is not accepting the code. I had problems with my install as well (on Jaguar) where it was giving the message that it was a demo and the demo time had expired although it was a brand new copy. I wound up having to get tech support involved, but was able to resolve the problem with their help.
