History: My home imac with 400mhz, 20G HD and 1G ram and an external fireware hd of 120G: was booting Sibelius 2.0 when my son bashed on the turned on keyboard with midi attached. Things got fried. I put in a clean system, got a newer Motu fastlane midi and stupidly upgraded to Sibelius 3.1. Since being fried, nothing has wanted to work correctly. It hangs, requires huge amounts of ram (Photshop dosen't even need that much!) and won't extract parts-it gives me type 2 and 3 errors! Forget scanning; even though my scanner works fine by itself. All my other appications work great..quicken, emails, word processing, photoshop, etc. I'm asking ya'll at macmall 'cause I'm never home to call Sibelius and I need more info. I have Sibelius 2.0 at school on a dell pc (not large memory) and it works great! Can anyone help?

Thanks. To complete some forgotten info..Sibelius 3.1 is running on os 9.2.2 and I did zap pram to be safe. I've tried one attempt at creating a new extension set with only the necessary ones for music work..Sibelius, cd burner, printer, scanner, turbo mouse, toast; must of not had it right, 'cause it didn't work. If anyone knows exactly what should be active - that might help. Does the order the extensions load in matter? I'd appreciate your continued support! I'll keep working on it..but am getting close to upgrading to a new mac : biggrin.gif ! But, then I'd have to chose which one!
