It's been sheer hell all the way trying to get it all working without spending hundreds and hundreds of pounds. Iam a musician! If I had that soert of cashi'd be spending it on fast women and the high life. Dont even ask me about Griffen imic!! really please dont. I cant afford the therapy. ANyway i cant find absynth in logic. Im told it should just appear. hmmm Can someone please help an absynth klutznik?? |

dances with plants (great moniker),
Absynth 1.0 etc is a stand alone application. You won't see it in Logic or any other DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). I don't know about Absynth 1.2. Did they 'plug it in'? Logic 4.7 - I'm assuming you're running OS9 - uses VST plug-ins anyway so the Absynth app would have to be a VST plug-in and it would have to be in the VST folder in the Logic path. But, I'm pretty sure it's stand alone. I used to use Absynth - it is fantastic and far too much for my little brain on occasions. I used to launch Absynth - match bpm with what I was doing - record some stuff (technical term) and save it out before re-importing the .aiff file into ProToolsLE or Logic. Hope it helps PT |
