I'm interested in buying a new 12 in pb from the mac store. I'm curious if it would be easy to buy some RAM and upgrade it myself instead of paying $280 for 512mb of ram from the store. Is there a website that shows how to do this. I'd like to play around with garageband and possibly work up to Live or audio program. I believe that this would have the power that I need. I'd like to also be able to manipulate 2trk audio like in Peak or something else.
Thanks for the comments, Jared |

Ask for certified Mac memory, as if PC memory to the same specs should work, on your mac you are not sure it'll be so. Macs are more touchy concerning RAM quality. Now you're not entitled to buy RAM from Apple, given the price they assume.
They seem to sell Apple spec memory… does someone here has already bought from them? -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home
