Initialization Procedures
===============================================================================
The following list includes instructions for initializing an instrument back
to it's original factory condition. In most cases, the factory presets will be
restored when you perform this procedure. However, there are several
exceptions to this and these instruments are identified with a (D) indicating
that they are destructive initializations. Initializing one of these units
will clear the memory and leave you without sounds.

Tone data and Bank A Patch data. Be sure to BACK UP YOUR DATA FIRST!

*Poly Mode - Power on holding NUMBER BUTTONS 4 & 8.
*Mono Mode - Power on holding NUMBER BUTTONS 3 & 7.

In both cases the following will be transferred from ROM to RAM:

and 128 patches for the A/B groups. Also, the TONE NAMES in
group A will be copied to the group A PATCH NAMES

turn off, power up holding PORTAMENTO & DATA TRANS .

Juno-1; To check the RAM without losing data, press and hold the
Oct Down and MIDI buttons while powering up. To initialize the
RAM and start over from scratch turn off the memory protect
switch with the power on then turn off the synth and press and
hold the Portamento and Data Trans buttons while powering on
the synth. Turn the power off to resume normal play mode.
