Hi,
Need to know what firewire audio interface works with my specs. Need 7 mic inputs (mics could connect to interface by jack, but I prefer using XLR) and 2 Line inputs simultaneously to record to powerbook. Any advice appreciated Thanks Adam |

I have a Motu 828-MK-I, it works fine although it is limited in flexibility compared to to HD-896 or 828-MK-II. It sounds good to me, as well. I think it' fair to say - good value for money.
Judging from postings on various forums it seems folks with very high proffessional standards, pro recording - broadcast quality etc., think the pre-amplifiers are bit weak. (they go for Apogee Rosetta:s or better stuff = EXPENSIVE) Cheers: Dixiechicken -------------------- ==================
