Hey all,

I'm a med student who dabbles in rock piano/lead vocals with some of my classmates, and I'm interested in making some one-man-bandish recordings. I have a midi controller keyboard, and a G5 tower.

I used to own Logic Platinum but sold it after 1) it proved to be way more than I needed, and 2) I didn't have the time to master the program.

Right now, I own DP4 and I'm looking for some sampler/synth software to use with my G5. I've only recorded with actual instruments before, never with software-generated sounds.

Can you recommend some software that will play nice with DP4 and allow me to use my MIDI controller to record some rock songs (think Peter Gabriel/U2 type stuff)? I don't think loop software is necessarily what I'm looking for, more like actual instrument sounds that I can play myself.

Thanks very much! biggrin.gif
