I have a TiBook with a cd-rw drive. I have only used a few cd-rws, yet inevitably I cannot re-write. I have tried using disk-utility to erase the disks, only the info says the disks are 'read only' (despite the disk showing up as 'cd-rw' on my desktop).
So I wonder, which brand (in the USA, my last failed attempt was with a TDK) is compatible with a Mac? Or, is there a cd initialization procedure I am missing? Thanks, Jonathan |

It began to do the same thing a couple of weeks ago (my power mac g4), to finaly stop to even read this sort of CD (cdrw), to write any else CD (cd-rom, cd-audio)... I' d to change my CD-writer, after only two years and half!
I hope that isn't the same bullshit for you!!!! PS : Sorry for my poor english... -------------------- LE PRINTEMPS DES AMOUREUX
