 Opening Samples On Exsp24 |

Evening- I have a G4 with panther and am running Logic Gold6. Now bare in mind I've never used a software sampler before
 . I open the exsp24 and it plays the preset samples. However i have the extreme digital sample cd and I can not load any of the samples into it them into in. They don't appear on the drop down menu and when i try to open them with load settings they are greyed out and i can't select one to open. And the manuals not much help, but that might just be my problem!!! Thanks |

seems that you need to copy the files into the sampler instruments folder if you are using os x. that is where logic looks for .exs files for the EXSP24 soft sampler.
and to choose the sounds you would have to click the black screen on the EXSP24 and a drop down menu will appear. not the load setting menu. to make things easier. on the cd you might see something for advanced users. go into that folder and copy the EXSP24 samples into the /MacHD/Library/Application Support/Emagic/Sampler Instruments folder restart logic and you will see them. hope this is right if not let me know and i will help you more.
