I have G3(OS 9.1), pro tools free v5.01, a Mackie 1202, mixer, a few quality mikes... is this enough *stuff* to do some *acoustic recordings*.. what about latency issue.. i relaize all this stuff has probably been covered.. but can someone point me in the right direction.. so that I can get up and running...

many thanks .. Uncle Gomey

sure- that's enough to record with the built in mic input on your G3. just come out the mixer and get whatever crappy radioshack adapters you need to get the mic outs converted to a stereo mic input and run that into the mic input of your mac.

i never used pt free- does it work without a digidesign soundcard?
