A short while ago, I sent a note to MOTU to ask about Mac OS X compatibility. Here's the exchange:

We are working on an OSX native version of DP. No word yet on a release
date.

So they ARE working on it but meanwhile we still have to boot into OS 9... I hope this is the year that we see most Audio apps go OS X native because right now it seems that (Pro) Audio is the stepchild of OS X.
