Can't Get Sound Out Of My Us-428!!!

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 5 Joined: 16-Oct 03 From: Jamestown - US Member No.: 26,921	Help!!! When I hook up my bass or guitar to the tascam I can't get to record any sound on to Cool Edit. Can someone PLEASE help me?

Have you installed the correct driver for the 428? Some obvious dumb ones now - is the volume turned up on the guitar/bass/trim on the 428? I don't own Cool Edit, but I would have to assume there's some kind of preference panel where you can select the 428 as the recording input. Does Cool Edit require you to arm/enable a track before recording?
