Hi there,

I worked with my G3, Logic 4.8 and OMS 2.3.8, Midisport 2x2 and it was oke. Now with my new Powerbook G4, MacOs 9.2 and OMS the trouble started. First I copied my setup from the G3, that didn't work (huge delay and no Midi in). Then I made a new setup with the same result or worse.
Does anyone has a clue what's wrong and is there a better Midi software solution for Logic (and Reason) without OMS or Freemidi ?

Greetings from Holland.

As far as I know the only reason to use OMS is… Reason wink.gif

More seriously, the internal MIDI utility of Emagic works only with emagic hardware (AMTx interfaces) and is definetly better than any OMS driven solution (not that difficult wink.gif

So the midiman is certainly a case of OMS obligation too

A few months of purgatory (hope hope)…
