I'm facing a problem for a while now and I can't find any solutions.
I have an Ibook G3/500-384RAM. I work on Logic Audio, which works well with MIDI, but when it comes to audio... It seems to be impossible to record any audiotrack, whatever soundcard I use: Mac AV, EMI 2/6, Mbox. As soon as I push 'play-record', my whole computer freezes and I have to reboot it. I've tried two different versions of Logic (4.7 and 4.7.3), I downloaded an 4.8.1 upgrade and nothing works. When I installed the 4.7.3 version, it worked a few times until the computer bugged for using too much plugins and after that it was the same mess again. You maybe interested to know that audiorecording on protools with an Mbox works... I can't manage to find out the problem, I really need help on that one. Thanks in advance. Yes, the 'Propagamma ASIO USB Driver' works great with the Mbox and Logic.
