I am using a Tascam US122 as Audio USB interface and a Ibook (G3). Can anyone recommend a cheap multitrack recording program (with some minor editing capabilites).

MB-hunger is dictated from the sampling frequency and bit resolution depth.
Example: 1 hour of digital audio in stereo with cd-quality is 600 Mb of harddrive space. That is: 44-KHz sampling frequency Resolution is: 16 bits Changing the sapmling freq to 88KHz will double the size of the audio file. Changing resolution to 24 bits will increase the size with some 300Mb Cheers: Dixiechicken -------------------- ==================
