Hi All,
I've just brought a G4 powerbook and Logic Audio Gold exs edition. I need to be able to record samples from cds and albums. What software is best for doing this. I can't see anywhere on the powerbook that allows you to record anything either on cd drive or from an external line. I'm going to try and use the Imic as a 'cheap' line in option for the moment, but need to be able to record what I'm pulling into the computer. Many thanks, Slante, Craig |

No, if you want to record a sound file from MD you need an audiointerface... I don't know how you are going to use your mac for making music, but sooner or later you're going to need one..
There are several interfaces on the market these days, search one that fits with your way of making and recording music. You probably don't have to buy the most new, expesive one... Good Luck! -------------------- - Rogier Hemmes
