I'm having trouble with my Mac G4 machine (Os 9,2). The problem is that it suddenly stops working, and no matter what I do it will not respond to any of my commands. The only way out is to turn the computer off and start all over again. This problem occurs almost every time I use the computer.
On this machine I have very few programs installed as the only thing I use it for is music-making (in Cubase vst 5.0). Could this have something to to with available memory, or what do you think?

Hope someone can help me out!

There are reported problems in different forums with some fw-interfaces & some brands of fw external
harddrives.

Motu:s Techsupport recommendations are as follows, for daisy-chaining.
Computer --> fw-harddrive --> Motu 828 MK-I/MK-II

Also connect your fw-peripherals directly to the fw-port on your computer.
Avoid usb & fw-hubs.
