HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
I am running a G4 500mhz, 512 RAM, 40GIG.
when i record audio instruments in Logic and then close the file and reopen it all the tempo changes. I can resolve it by merely shifting the tempo, but its about 2-5 beats a minute everytime! Of course ALL other AUDIO is now out of sync.
I have tried switching off every extension and having a logic only settings but alas.
I am very perplexed.

yes..load sample instruments..exs24 drum loop for e.g. get the tempo just right for a loop.
The problem is with ALL the EXS24 audio instruments, but I have only noticed it on the drums, in other words it doesn't happen with JV2080 or audio. Its something only related to the sampler.
do bass, and whatever else.
save and quit.
reopen.
lets say it was tempo 147 BPM. it will still SAY 147 (in the transport bar) but when i play the loop(obviously listening to the drum loop is the easiest way of realising this) it is out of time, too short, with empty space or too long and gets cut off. So i resync the tempo by changing it up or down a bit and it settles in again.
Any other midi instruments from my JV2080 are now out of sync until i do this and so is the audio (which stays out of sync.)
I am using an audiowerks card and a midi sport 2 x 2 .
Fatar SL 61...sorry..clock source?
MAybe I am just doing something really stupid. I don't think so, but it has been known.
When i put a loop in and trigger it with the keyboard, I always find the tempo I like on the keyboard then trigger it and then alter the temp in the transport bar till it makes a perfect loop.
This seems right to me, I wouldn't have thought quitting and reopening should cause it to be not as i left it!
Is that helpful? thanks for trying to help me.
