HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
I am running a G4 500mhz, 512 RAM, 40GIG.
when i record audio instruments in Logic and then close the file and reopen it all the tempo changes. I can resolve it by merely shifting the tempo, but its about 2-5 beats a minute everytime! Of course ALL other AUDIO is now out of sync.
I have tried switching off every extension and having a logic only settings but alas.
I am very perplexed.

I'm still not quite sure what is happening.

This is what I know:
You are using logic 4.7.2 or 4.81
You are using EXS24 as your software instrument.
Something is wrong with the timing of your sound.

Can you list exactly what you are doing.
e.g.
Start Logic.
Open an EXS24 instrument
Load a program/sample into the EXS24 (what type? e.g. bass, piano or a "loop" i.e. drum loop or phrase)
Play and record some MIDI notes which trigger the exs24.
Load another EXS24
Play and record some MIDI notes which trigger the exs24.
Each recorded part is playing together i.e. in time at this point.
Save the logic song.
Quit Logic.
Start Logic.
Open previously saved Logic Song
The parts are no longer in time with each other
Opening the Matrix editor the note events appear to be in time.........
etc. etc.

At the moment I can't quite understand from your description what is happening.
Do you have tempo changes in your tempo list?
What is your sound card? What is your clock source for this, internal or external?
etc.....
What MIDI device e.g. MIDI interface or keyboard are you using?
