using Powerbook 800/512/40 , Reason and an Oxygen 8 i want to build a studio with one of those 3 hardware i/o's and 1 of the 3 Sequncers....what would u choose and why? live performance is a priority and recording a band all at once is a priority.....thanks

If you buy the 828 MK-II you'll get Audidesk 2, for free with it. Audiodesk will no doubt be able to handle your digital audio demands. ( no midi though )
With 828 you get "no latency" dsp cue mixing, up to four independent routable stereo mixes. It can act as a standalone mixier/DA-converter as well. All in all a great and rather affordable piece of gear. If you need to do midi as well upgrade from Audiodesk to DP4, for 149$. DP4 is a great piece of software.
