Hello everyone, I was wondering if anybody had info on the m-box, I have a G4 powermac with 5 slots, 533 mhz.,sdram 128 mb, L2 cache 1mb, and running on OS X 10.2.6 (and a 15" studio display monitor, is it too small?) and looking for a soundcard for mpc and turntable stuff, with mic and instrument connections, and something to fit my budget around 500-600. The M-box seem's interesting, so does working with PT. How does the USB connection hold up? and do I need to get a pair of studio monitor speakers for that? I'm not limiting it to m-box alone, any info would be greatly appreciated. I also had an offer for a roland VM3100pro but not sure if it's supported by OS X, and rolands sound quality? unsure.gif thanx..

The USB, as long as it is native, should be great. I tried it on the G3(non-native)

I was considering getting MBOX for my 400 Mhz G3 PB. I only need 2 or 3 audio tracks at most; most of my stuff is MIDI based. Digidesign's documents recommend G4 only. Does this mean you actually can use a G3 with MBOX (assuming OS 10.2.X)?

Thanks, in advance,
