hi everyone. ok, i'm looking for mac compatible software that will allow me to convert music into midi. I want to put midi sound on my website if possible. I've only ever seen midi software available for PC users......can anyone steer me in the right direction? any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Yes Melodyne is a nice little app for manipulating the pitch of prerecorded audio 'like' midi but does not translate to midi. Also, this software will not work on multitrack recordings or with chordal notes... must be monophonic. It is nice app but I would wait until the next version is released as they have a few bugs to be worked out accroding to an article in EM magazine.
