Is it possible to connect a pc with a mac, so that I´ll be able to transfer data from mac to pc?

I am not sure whether the dilemma here is file-sharing or simply the best way to transfer files between the two. In any event, you will need some program to translate mac specific files to pc specific files e.g. applworks to ms/word as already mentioned. Common file formats such as jpg's, mid's, etc. can simply be transferred. If you are using floppies to transfer files, a pc-formatted floppy will work on a mac, but a mac-formatted floppy cannot be read by a pc.
