If anyone has gotten this to work let me know because i have tried EVERYTHING and nothing has seemed to work. I have a PowerBook G4 running Cubase SX on it and I am trying to record using a Motu 828 connecting by firewire. Cubase just won't recognize the Motu. Maybe it's because i'm missing some driver of the latest version of a driver...i just need someone to help me please!!!!

have you tried to download latest drivers from Motu site ?
Also are you in X or 9? Now does the system recognize the 828? It should show up in the apple menu/ apple system information and in the Sound control pannel in 9.
