im running a g4/400, os 9.1 with PT 5.1 on it.
with the digidesign extensions enabled, apple talk wont launch
asking me to check the connection, even if PT is off !!
any idea to solve thi problem ?
i will be glad to have acces o my ome network without rebooting on another configuration !

I think OMS is the reason appletalk may not work. I could be wrong however. I haven't tried this so can't say for sure but if you are not using midi in PT then you could try to make a set of extensions that is like the current only without OMS and then see if appletalk will work that way. Then just switch back if you need midi. That is just an idea and just like all other disclaimers... I am not responsible for any loss or damage of data ;-)

I may run into same problem myself when ever I get my home network installed.
