I'm running Cubasis 2.0 on an iBook 256MB with the Quattro. It has been a pain to set-up, but it is working fine now. It may help to re-load all of your music software. The order I followed was Cubasis, Spark, OMS, Quattro. It may help to remove any USB drivers not needed by your music software.
Sometimes, at the beginning of a session, the iBook won't physically find Quattro. When this happens it helps to shut down the iBook completely. Unplugging the USB cable or simply re-starting usually doesn't do it. Once inside Cubasis I go to OMS, and then Test Studio. This seems to turn OMS on, and MIDI will work fine. Weird, huh? Oh! I'm using the old Quattro drivers, not the brand new ones (1.0.5?). Strange things happened when I used the new drivers. I hope this helps. This forum has been a great help to me. |
