I am trying to replace the light MIDI synth used by QuickTime with another soundfont. I have already done this on OS X, but I can't figure out how to do this on OS 9. Does anybody know what to do?

Thanks

You can't. It's all hard-coded in QUickTime on OS9.

The only reason it works in OSX is because the QT synthetizer uses the AUMudicDevice audio unit synthetizer.
