 Is The Audio In Port Stereo? |

Hi All
Ive always wondered, is that AUDIO IN port on the MAC stereo or mono. I use Macromedias Sound Edit 16 to record audio. Ive never been able to get it to record in stereo. Is it my sound settings, is it Sound Edits, or the mac? thanks for the help |

Must be the mac
 The only models as far as I know that had stereo in were labeled "AV" a looooooooong time ago. I was young then
