I'm new to this list. Looks great so far. Looking for a cheap way to start editing music on a mac. Got the idea of Protools Free from a post. I downloaded it. But now the program won't run on my G3/9.1 powerbook. I get an error message (needs OMS version 2.1 to run) and then it doesn't load.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Dave

yeah... look on the digidesign.com site for OMS 2.3.8 (latest) in downloads section or search the net as this is what PT Free uses for midi protocol on the mac. Even if you don't plan to do any midi work... it still needs this to run. Once you install that... PT Free should work. smile.gif
