Pro Toolse Free Sync Question, Help please!

I have tried everything suggested in the online manual, and I'm wondering if there is something I'm overlooking. Can anyone help? I do have OMS installed and it seems to recognise the Roland, but when I use the Roland as the master and PT slaved to it, PT doesn't seem to pick up any MTC or things like song position information etc. However, when I use the same setup scenario with Cubase, it works fine, so I don't think there is a problem with OMS or the midi interface.
