hello,
I just switched from pc to mac, and I "unfortunately" connected usb2 devices to the usb3
ports on my new mac mini, so how do I now reconfigre the usb ports back to usb3 speed again for my new usb3 devices?
regards

if you have to reset ports, you must make a general rest of the computer. Procedures may vary and involve unplugging stuff and press the start button on the computers built for a few years now. You can find the exact procedure on Apple help database webstie. Search with your peculiar model, if it's a generic name (like Mac Mini), check the model issue date, it'll help. http://everymac.com/ may help you find it.

Plus USB implementation is notoriously bad at Apple… wink.gif
And Not All USB Port Are MAde Equal! huh.gif)
