Hello folks.
I LOVE THIS GROUP!! Joe here. I have dual monitor question for you. Is there any way I can use my ibook as a second monitor for my G4 desktop system? They are both on a network. Right now the G4 is running 9.2 ( grrrr..as you know....my music production software: Digital Performer...has yet to release an OS X version...) The monitor on the G4 system is a Viewsonic VA720. The ibook is running OSX. Here my band: www.trailerparkhomepage.com Thanks you guys & gals! Joe |

well at first I thought maybe you could get some av adapters for each computer but then I started thinking about my experiences with dual monitors... i think you would have to actually have a second video card on the G4 desktop (ideally with RCA or S-video outs) and then get A/V input for the ibook and in the end... too much $$$ ... best bet is to get cheap video card for G4 and second monitor as this seems like the only solution but i may be wrong ;-)
by the way... let me know if you do ever figure that one out because I have a tibook and G3 and think your idea would be cool if it could happen cheaply -------------------- ----------------------------------------
