Can anybody out there give me the steps to be able to use my Mac+Logic to be able to `MTC` (midi time code) an external 24 track Tascam 2488Neo digital recorder. angry.gif

assuming the tascam digital deck outputs MTC on a standard midi cable, this shouldn't be difficult.
set the deck up as a midi device to your midi interface, and verify it's transmitting MTC.
in Logic, there will be a 'slave to sync' command or mode, with several choices. choose midi time code.
put Logic in play, and it will be in standby. roll the deck, it'll run.
it's been a while, but we used to sync our MOTU Performer files (midi only) to SMPTE audio stripes all the time.
