Hello all!
I have written several acoustic guitar pieces and have been using Reason to orchestrate background for these pieces. What would be a good portable solution for recording (preferablly digital) my analog guitar to get it to a digital format for mixing. Keeping in mind, this is a "hobby" for me and my budget is limited (would like to stay in the mid-hundreds). I'm thinking something in a Sony minidisc and a decent mic...have no clue as to the mic. I would like to keep it portable, allowing me to record field samples and sound effects for other projects. Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated. |

Did you have to post an exact same message 3 times? Anyway...
Yeah, any MiniDisk recorder and a microphone would be good for you. I heard good reviews about SONY ECM-MS907 (a stereo microphone for a portable recording). Together, they should cost you less than $400... |
