Hi everybody,
I have recently installed Logic Pro.8.02 on my G5 bipro everythings seems OK but I have no sound ! You have to know that just before I worked with Digital Performer. DP is OK with the sound but I can't have sound when I open Logic. DP and Logic are on the same computer but I never use them together… Is anybody can help me ? Thank you This post has been edited by Z09: Tue 21 Jul 2009, 16:38 |

I have a MOTU 8Pre and the monitoring section is very confusing and was a bit trial and error at first. Assuming all is well as far as Audio Midi setup goes (the motu is the interface selected for input and output) and that your Traveller is selected as your input and output in Logic's Preferences pane....you should be able to hear the Traveller, period, if Cue Mix is open, and if you have an instrument or a mic plugged in. Leave Cue Mix up and make sure that it is showing a signal for whatever track you have an instrument playing thru. Or, if you are virtual then make sure that you see a signal in Cue Mix while Logic is playing your song.....If these things are happening and still no output then you need to start making adjustments with your output volume knob....on mine it is pressing the volume once for headphones and twice for the stereo output......Keep plugging away.....I'll bet it's a hardware issue that is really simple once you figure it out. It's hard to wrap the "monitor thru Cue Mix" and "Record thru Logic" idea.....Good Luck!
