Hi, first post here. I bought Metro 4 long time ago and updated it to 4.5 (or was it 5). Anyhow, now that I am trying to move to Mac OS X, I have been thinking about Metro. A quick email to Cakewalk confirmed that they won't update the program. If I recall, Metro was around for many years and Cakewalk was simply the developer's latest publisher. Does anyone know the actually developer behind Metro, and his/her plans?

Cheers

Carlos

As I can recall, yes Cakewalk was not so much of a big deal when Metro was booming. Now Cakewalk Sonar is their flagship product and the company has gone PC all the way. I assume Metro is dead.

Developing for OS X is a whole new ball game and only 2 major DAW's are available for OS X; namely Logic and Cubase. I was amazed that they actually ported their application in such a short time.
