I am very new to this forum. By the way of intro, I am more a computer person than a musician. I use computer music to do what I am not able to achieve on my instruments (guitars).
The question I have is with regard to positioning-synchronizing acoustic tracks with the software instruments. I recorded a few things I would like to use as loops. No matter what I do, I cannot set the loops beginnings properly. The recordings are done with metronome and so bpm is not my problem. My problem is manipulating the recorded track so that the first beat of everything happens at the same time. I got it down to less than a second but is is still playing a bit ahead. I did not find the answer in the manual. |

ummm not sure what you are asking exactly - try zooming in really close?
Also, there is relative grid mode I think - it will keep everything the same relation to the beat when you move it, or absolute mode, which snaps right to the grid. Each audio region also has a sync point you can define in the waveform editor -------------------- -Arvid •• Squish the Squid Productions, Modest Machine
