Hi,
I've just bought a new MacBook, and been thoroughly enjoying using it for many things, but since last week the fan has been on practically non-stop. Of course it eventually stops when I put it to sleep, but within a minute or two of use it's back on again. This is a problem if I want to use it to record audio, and as a music workstation. I'm thinking of taking it back while the warranty is still valid, but I'd rather not now that I have all the things I want installed on it. My iBook's fan didn't come on nearly as much, and I used it the same amount. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. |

Wow, that was easy...
Thanks! I feel empowered It was something called switch that was using 86% of the CPU, so I forced it to quit. Hope I haven't stopped a vital function of the computer have I ??? |
