Newbie Group: Members Posts: 2 Joined: 30-Aug 03 From: San Antonio - US Member No.: 23,883	I think anyone who is at all serious about recording should have an SM57 in their arsenal for sure- there are just too many places where it is the best/obvious choice and it's usually the best place to start when recording guitar amps. Plus, you can always use it as a hammer if you need one in a pinch!
