biggrin.gif hi there, hmmmm.... lately i have been frustrated with logic, as everytime i try to play something though my midi controller, the program seems to crash, and i have like only 1 vst insturment open, and no audio tracks running, hmm... and i dont know what exactly it is.. hmmmmmm... i have a powermac 733mhz with 128mb of ram, runing OS9.2, midisport 2x2, and logic audio 5.3, hmmm. i have messed around with the memory allocation a little, but it dosent seem to realy do anything. so excuse me for my ignorance, lol, but any sort of advice would be appreciated biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif wink.gif

Try booting with BASE extension set - copy it and just enable the neccessary USB driver for the Midisport, Logic dongle, OMS etc. Sometimes usb midi devices get grumbly when, for example, USB printer sharing is enabled and the like. Provided logic has a few meg allocated to it above the minimum required, it's rare for this to be a source of problems.

Also, have you tried setting up OMS? Does this receive midi from your controller KB? Sorry, I'm assuming the midisport requires OMS.

Like Teiwaz says, let us know more and will try to assist smile.gif
