hi everyone- i would like to use a drum pattern in ultrabeat to trigger a synth track. i only want the synth track to create sound at the same time as the drum pattern. how should i go about this? what effects do i need to put on what tracks? are there multiple ways to achieve the same effect? thanks in advance to all the producers out there...

oh. that's much much easier than i was thinking of. i try to get too complicated....
what i was tryin to go for is i had heard something about sidechains and compression, and triggering the signal from one to the other, and using busses, but frankly that all really confuses me. i'll give it a try and let ya know... This post has been edited by apachateca: Tue 29 May 2007, 23:23 |
