Can someone tell me exactly which extensions or what version of Quicktime is required for the "Movie " import function in (my case Logic and Peak) to work- the only way I can import audio from CD's is through Toast audio extractor which crashes my computer (also why?).

turn diskburner off, it's cr@p!
the conflict dosen't exist if you're using up to date versions of toast and itunes. toast audio extractor is not compatible with os9.x or 10. you'll have to import the cd's audio tracks with itunes(as aif's) or toast. once the tracks are on your hard drive as aif, wav or sd2 files, you'll be able to load them into logic or peak easily, you can then chop them into tiny pieces and re-save the pieces as new audio files if you wish. as far as movies are concerned, any quicktime movies on your hard drive can be imported into logic(not so sure about peak here). good luck... -------------------- one for all and all for one...
