How much RAM have you installed?
For the CPU thing, you have to install the CHUD tools available thru Apple for the latest version (in the developer section) or install it from the Xcode part of the OS install DVD. CHUD provide you a Processor Prefpanel where you have a "disable nap" option, that's it. Note it'll disable internal power management in the CPU so it'll eat power all the time. Now, another thing to look at it in the energy saving prefpanel, set the CPU performance to max, you should start by this and eventually the RAM if you don't have much installed. -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home
