Have you all seen this beautiful machine? IT'S a fucking digital mixer/interface thru a FIREWIRE for ProTools OH YEAH! I'm about to throw this MBox in the trash, and I'm wondering if this 002 will be an awesome upgrade. It's pricey, but might be worth it.

Yes, you are locked into PT with the Digi.
I didn't mean to imply otherwise regarding using it with other software - I meant just for listening to audio only. Plenty of opinions on Digi vs. not, but just a positive review on the 002 from me. I'd also be interested in hearing from other users with their experience with the 002. With the PT OS X version coming later for 002, I wonder if that means all of the "free" plugins that we got, whether they'll still work with the new version. Hope so, but concerned.
