A new problem has surfaced with my LOGIC 7.2.
Quite randomly when re-opening a song a previously ok channel strip/aux/bus or instrument track will show up almost as blank...its a wierd thing to explain - like the inserts and pan etc are missing !! There are a few visuals in the channel strip and the image or number will stutter leaving a visual trail when moved or say the slider is pushed up or down... It's really hard to explain I hope someone may have a clue or experienced the same thing. If I restart Logic the channel thing may not occur in the same place or at all... It is quite random - BUT ANNOYING !! Any help appreciated cos I've had it a bit rough lately - what with my other probs and all. Also a NEW question - Should I always update software when avalable ?? It seems that things work quite well and sometimes after installing tha latest updates that some problems crop up that were not there before - should I aim to find a working 'happy' system and leave it be ??? THANKS to everyone who posted on my previous message- some of my problems are now resolved...mainly solved by waiting for 3rd party sofware companies to finally update their software .. at last !! So my machine was'nt at fault after all ! CHEERS PAUL G5 2.5 3G RAM OSX 10.4.7 LOGIC PRO 7.2. This post has been edited by PAUL R: Fri 28 Jul 2006, 16:34 |

That is strange, maybe your machine needs a fresh OS install.
Once I have a stable setup I don't update until a project is complete, and because i have two machines, i try out new OS versions, and updates on my secondary machine before I update my main DAW. -------------------- G-Dub
