I would be less than optimistic that Apple (not Emagic) is going to replace the dongle for free. Here's what apple support says:
Email and Telephone Support for Emagic branded products is no longer available.

If you have Logic Pro 7 or later, and require a replacement XSKey, you may contact Apple with your request at www.apple.com/support/logic. Please note that it does not matter whether you are running Logic Pro 7 with a blue or white XSKey to be eligible for support. If you have Logic version 5 or 6, please send your request via email to support@emagic.de.

Replacement XSKeys for Emagic Logic versions 5 and 6 (blue Emagic XSKeys) will be available for purchase only until January 1, 2006. After such time, customers may purchase the then current version of Apple Logic Pro, which will include an XSKey that is compatible with Emagic Logic versions 5 and 6, including all Emagic plug-ins.

Good luck!
