Hi, how can i restore this without having to use
my system restore disks. I accidently deleted it then emptied the trash....doh!, Doh!, Doh! Is it possible to restore??????

Indeed you can either just restore the app from a backup (you do make regular backups, right?!) or install OS X from the installation cd/dvd again but it's NOT necessary to do an archive and install, just do an "upgrade". Remember afterwards to re-run software update.
