Try installing the card i different pci-slots to see what happens when you power up.
If that dont work - remove the card and power up - does it work? (the computer).

If computer start fine without card:

1)
Either you committed an error while installing the card - double-check instructions.

2)
Your computer or OS does NOT support the card.
IS the card meant for PCI-slots or PCI-X slots or maybe even PCIe (PCI Express slots)
Check with DigiDesign.

3)
The card is broken - check it out in another comparable MAC

IF 2) have the card replaced with a correct type of card --
or 3) Have the card replaced with a functional card. ( check repairs or warranties )
