I want to run my old version of Logic 5.1.3 the other day and audio just won't play back! The click works but audio not!
Please help
PC XP P4 2.4 512RAM VIA onboard card (just normal card shipped with box)
Could the old Logic not run on XP?
Anyone!?

Mike,

Should work fine. While I primarily use a G5 Dual 1.8/4GB with Logic 7.1
I also use a laptop PC with Logic for live keyboards with no trouble at all.

The laptop is a Dell with an Intel processor and 512 mb - nothing special.
I do use an M-audio firewire 410 and it is flawless with excellent sound.

I will say that in general, on board sound cards can have horrible latency to the point
of not being useable in my application which is why I went to FW.

I would check all drivers for loading and maker sure that within logic the driver
(PC AV I think) is assigned correctly. Also make sure your channel i/o and
master is correctly assigned.

Cheers.

Lon
