Hi all!
I'd like to buy any of those interfaces: M-Audio Audiophile USB or M-Audio FireWire 410 Minimal system requirements are G4 667 mhz (FireWire410) and G4 500 mhz (Audiophile). I use PowerMac G4 400 mhz. Can I hook up any of these interface? Will it run anyway? Maybe somebody has tried this stuff with G4 400mhz.. thanx in advance Rczj |

Ain't nothin' wrong with a 400 MHz G3, baby! I'm using one with a MOTU 2408, DP 3.1 and other software. No it's not the latest, no it's not the fastest. But, as you say, it's a tool that in the right hands can make beautiful music. Just a few years ago, my buddy was using the same machine with ProTools to do work for CBS and ABC! BTW, IMHO, X stinks, 9.2 rocks! |
